He was the guiding light of the Tejas project upto the TD a/c which led to the Tejas Mk 1. KH is a 1960 (?) graduate of BHU and was a Ph. D student of Prof. R. Narasimha who along with VS Arunachalam & Prof. Raja Ramanna were the main force behind the setting up of ADA to develop the LCA.
