Recently a Conference was held under the aegis of the Society for Aerospace Studies and the statements of the Air Chief Marshal and the Defense Secretary. the Customer and the Banker respectively were like a breath of fresh air. They showed that at least two of the pillars of our archaic Socialist state- controlled and inefficient weapons development edifice publicly acknowledge that problems exist.
